How it works

As an entrepreneur you can offer money and equity in exchange of services required. In this way you can reduce the intensity of capital required to get your start-up off the ground.

As a partner, you can offer your services by joining projects. You can choose the most suitable projects for your skills and receive payment in money or equity of start-ups. The equity is an interesting option to build an investment portfolio that could be worth several times more in the future.

2
Post your projects: After you create a company profile you can start creating projects. A project is a big chunk of work comprising several tasks. A project can be anything. It could be the creation of a web page or the installation and commissioning of a craft brewery factory. When you are creating your project, you will be required to allocate it to a specific category that is going to allow other users to find it. Try to choose a category that can summarize what is your project about.
3
Post a partner position, including the project you are looking for a partner and the skills required, so the right partners can connect with you.
4
Choose or accept the best candidates for your tasks and make the payment agreement through the chat.
5
Once you create a project you can start creating tasks and publish them, so you can negotiate with potential partners their execution. There are two different types of tasks
  • Add new task with an existing partner: You can create tasks with partners you already have.
  • Add new task with a new partner: You can choose to create tasks and allow new people to apply to be your partner.
6
When you create tasks you will be required to enter an estimated value for the them, this is the value you are willing to pay for their execution. The value can be split into a combination of money and shares (equity of your company), just money or just shares. Learn how to set value to your projects and tasks.

The tasks are the detailed activities of your project. For instance, if your project is the creation of a web page, then some of the tasks of your projects could be the following:

  • Define a domain for the web page.
  • Design the web page.
  • Program the web page.

These 3 tasks can be negotiated with one partner or with three independent partners. For instance, you can allocate the design of the web page to a Designer, and the program of the web page to a Programmer; or simply allocate both to the same person that has the skills to complete them.

7
Use your projects dashboard to follow up the progress and control your tasks.
8
Once your partners confirmed the tasks are done, you can approve the work and complete the cycle by paying or transferring shares to your partners.
